Fairytale Chic meets Urban Glam at Lynchburg Wedding: Katie + Freddy

Katie and Freddy wanted a romantic, garden-like feel for their wedding. They love for lighting, soft colors, and dreamy florals and greenery. Their recessional song was "Signed Sealed, Delivered" by Stevie Wonder. Their first dance song was to "This Very Moment" by Kaci & Jo Jo. Then their processional song was "I Get to Love You" by Ruelle.

In order for Katie and Freddy to help their wedding stand out amongst the rest and showcase who they are as husband and wife, they created signature cocktails for the event that guests could chose from (the bride's choice being a coconut margarita and the groom's being a whiskey). They also decided on a venue in the town where they met and created their memories together! One of the things that Katie and Freddy decided early on is how they want their guests to feel honored at their wedding as well and enjoy themselves to the fullest. Sometimes as the bride and groom you forget to step back and take it in, but Katie and Freddy made sure they would often take time to step back and see all the people their that were loving and supporting them, all while laughing, drinking, dancing, and eating. They said this was all they really wanted.

As hard as it is for me to say, you can’t do it all yourself. Delegate tasks and ask for help! -Katie (bride)

We were engaged for over a year and booked our vendors right away. There were many months where we didn’t do anything, but then once we were 6 months out, time started to speed up. About 3 months out, I started creating to-do lists each week which helped tremendously. - Katie (bride)
I could not thank Katelyn enough for truly bringing my vision to life! From planning meetings to sending me inspiration photos, to making me feel completely at east, she is the real MVP. Her kind heart and sweet disposition is found in every aspect of her work and you can tell she truly loves what she does. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she will do everything she can to create what you want. I am so beyond grateful that our paths crossed and she was apart of my wedding day. I feel like I not only gained an amazing florist, but a friend too! -Katie (bride)

Katie was so nervous the whole day of the wedding, but once she turned the corner and saw Freddy at the other end of the aisle, that anxiety disappeared and was replaced with joy and excitement that this stud was about to be her husband!
